Fulbright Distinguished Scholars Program

Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Awards are viewed as among the most prestigious appointments in the Fulbright Scholar Program.

The Czech Republic with five Distinguished Scholar positions belongs to countries which all together offer approximately 40 Distinguished Scholar Awards.

The Candidates for Distinguished Scholar award should be eminent scholars and have a significant publication and teaching record.

Deadline for Distinguished Scholar Awards is September 15 for the following academic year. In exceptional cases the deadline can be subject to minor adjustment.

    Length of the grant is 3-10 months
  2. Masaryk University, Brno
    Length of the grant is 3-4 months
  3. Czech Technical Universitylocation mainly in Prague (depending on particular School)
    Length of the grant is 3-10 months
  4. Palacký University, Olomouc
    Length of the grant is 3-4 months
  5. CERGE-IE, Charles University, Prague
    Lenght of the grant is 3-4 months
